Cleascro House is centrally situated in a quiet rural area, an ideal location for touring all parts of Lewis and Harris. South facing with a separate summer house, Cleascro House is surrounded by mature trees and enjoys extensive, uninterrupted views to the south, overlooking the scenic Harris and Uig hills. We are within easy reach of ferry routes and Stornoway Airport.

The Callanish Standing Stones and the old Carloway Broch are just two of the many places of interest within a short drive. There are an abundance of beautiful beaches within a short drive or plenty of vigourous hillwalking. You can spend time, bird watching, fishing for brown trout or exploring the stunning coast by boat. Salmon, sea fishing and shooting available by arrangement. Cleascro House is ideal for friends and family sharing, or indeed for people who like more space.

The abundant accommodation extending to 6 bedrooms is split over two floors, easily accomdating up to 12 adults. We can offer reduced rates for smaller parties; please contact us.

The Ground floor comprises Vestibule, Hall, Large lounge, Dining room, Family room, Spacious Kitchen, Bathroom, 2 double bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a Utility room.

The First floor comprises 4 double bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin) all ensuite, Sitting area, Library.

Terms and Conditions

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arriva.l Reservations will be held for 7 days and on receipt of deposit the booking will be confirmed.

Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date are payable in full. Lettings are on a weekly basis during high season from 3pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday

Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation every effort will be made to re- let the property and you will be reimbursed in full but to minimise the cost and inconvenience of cancelled bookings we strongly advise that you take out holiday insurance.

Where there are travel disruptions due to adverse weather conditions, ferry breakdowns etc, Cleascro House cannot be held responsible and regrettably no refunds can be given.

The property should be left in a clean and tidy state on departure and any damages reported. We reserve the right to remove from the property any person or persons causing damage or behaving in an unreasonable manner.

There is a no smoking policy within the property and small, well behaved dogs are welcome.
